Thursday, October 6 from 5PM to 8PM: Chick-fil-A Youth Life Spirit Night

Thank you for supporting us! We received 10% of the proceeds for the evening from the White Oaks Village Chick-fil-A on Laburnum Avenue.

Monday, August 29 Darrell Green's 2nd Annual Golf Classic

150 golfers came out to Brandermill Country Club on August 29 for a beautiful day of golf. Two days after the hurricane we were very thankful to be able to hold the event as planned. Golfers joined over 30 celebrities including our own Darrell Green and everyone had a great time. Around $25,000 was raised for our Youth Life Learning Centers! We are so thankful to Joe Dunn and his team of golf committee volunteers many coming from Village Bank for all of their hard work that made this day such a success. Thank you to all of our sponsors, especially our title sponsor, Dominion Day Services and our pre-event and corporate sponsor Home Team Grill.

Saturday, July 30 at 7:00 PM: Fashion Show

A YLFR board member Lindsey Barr and her friend Lindsay Ess planned a fashion show to benefit Youth Life. It was held Saturday, July 30th at 7 pm at Studio 8 West on Broad St. and include YLFR t-shirts which have been modified. Kids who attend the learning centers modeled or showcased a talent. Thanks to all who supported this event.

Saturday, July 16 from 9AM to 6PM: YLFR Day at Hope Thrift Store

Hope Church runs Hope Thrift Store located at 11260 Patterson Avenue in the Tuckahoe Village Shopping Center. They promotes YLFR as their Ministry of the Month and on Saturday, July 16 all of their proceeds went to YLFR!!! The clothes are REALLY nice and a great price! Thanks for the support!

Friday, June 24 from 5-8 PM: Tropical Smoothie Night

Thanks to all of those who came out to support our Tropical Smoothie Night. It was a great success and so much fun. The prize for the family who made the most effort to come goes to the Knuths who came all the way from Illinios (OK they were already in town but it was still cool).
